His areas of focus include incident response, computer forensics, and security awareness education. Mickey also holds many industry recognized certifications including the SANS GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst and Web Application Penetration Tester certifications, the EC Council Certified Ethical Hacker certification, and is a Red Hat Certified Engineer. David C. Smith is the co-owner of HCP Forensics Services, LLC, a computer forensic services firm in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. He is a Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager, and holds several IT certifications in Unix(s), Windows, and Networking.He graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and has been in the information technology and information security workforce for over 20 years as an Oracle DBA, Windows and Linux consultant, Network Manager, Information Security Director, and Chief Information Security Officer of a large private university.
